Step 2: It's All In The Cleansing Technique

Certain techniques can compromise your hair's porosity and moisture content, leaving your hair dry and frizzy. With a large tooth comb, detangle hair and loosen up any scalp build up. Do not scrape or scratch your scalp, which could cause irritation. Apply cleanser and massage scalp to create a thick lather. Move your hands downward as you apply your cleanser, not scrunching upwards. You want to close the cuticle layers of the hair to help retain moisture and reduce your hair's porosity.
Step 3: Condition Weekly & Steam Treat Monthly
Frizzy hair is usually the result of dry hair. Ensure your tresses retain the most moisture by conditioning your hair weekly. Apply a liberal amount of conditioner from root to tip. Allow conditioner to sit for 15 minutes under a plastic cap. Steam Therapy is also important in assisting your hair to retain moisture and health.
